Sandy Hook Family Session

Sandy Hook family sessions have always been some of my favorite to photograph.  Not only is it a quick ride from my home, but the views are breathtaking.  Photographing a Sandy Hook family session, much like any other…is always best during the last two hours of sunlight.  A fun fact about Sandy Hook, its one of the new locations in the east coast where the sun sets over the water!   While we were not lucky enough to get a nice sunset, we still had a great time photographing this Sandy Hook Family session. 

The main inspiration for this Sandy Hook Family session was a celebration of the family matriarch's 80th birthday!  The D’Amore family was absolutely amazing to work with.  Everyone was very cooperative and totally into the photos.  We started out with natural light only as to take advantage of the little bit of sunlight we had.  After that we used some sweet looking off camera flash to create a different look along the water.  At the end of the day, we had some real great imagery to share with this amazing family.  I am grateful they chose Delgado Studios for capturing their family session.   Enjoy the photos everyone!
